"This would be more than just a stadium project; it would also include a private development that when combined with the world-class dome stadium will be transformative for our region," Jenkins added.
However, the possibility of staying at their current home, Cleveland Browns Stadium, has not been entirely eliminated. The team has entertained the idea of a $1 million renovation, although details about a more comprehensive $1 billion renovation remain unclear. The challenges posed by renovating Cleveland Browns Stadium include significant operational limitations and essential infrastructure improvements. "The lakefront site also has significant operational limitations for a building of our size, and requires major infrastructure moves to improve our operational and fan experience challenges," Jenkins explained.
The project's success hinges on public support, with the Browns seeking financing from the general public to fund half of the $2.4 billion cost. Cleveland Mayor Justin Bibb has proposed that city taxpayers cover less than half of the renovation costs, but discussions with the City of Cleveland are ongoing.

"Fans already understand how the current stadium fits into the lakefront with the city's master plan, but we felt they needed to see what the dome vision in Brook Park would look like," stated a Browns spokesman.
